The watersheds of the Dhenkanal district Odisha, India with centrally flowing, river Brahmani identified and explored. added anthropogenic stresses are unattended that affect land, hydrology, ecology, vegetation, fertility soil. Population growth, migration to cities, challenges, continuous disasters, block growth.
 Arc GIS software its Hydrology toolset were utilized. Digital Elevation Model is used scale various maps like flow direction, stream order, accumulation, Stream features, Pour points, watershed district. Rengali Dam, Samal barrage system left right canal have a positive impact on both sides but surface groundwater polluted by industrial effluents. 
 in transition ridges Mahanadi Baitarani basin been poorly attended Dhenkanal. Construction farm ponds, recharge units, soil conservation activities, renovation, new construction waterbodies can cater care for water, vegetation It high time prepare large-scale modern survey techniques (UAV, drones, GIS, GPS) observed data identify, delineate, prioritize, plan sustainable environment management considering availability v/s demand water through Integrated Watershed Management
